This section explains all applications and functions for superusers and admins found in the Admin-launchpad (PEARLPOS-ADMIN)

  1. Introduction

All applications needed for admins and super users will be found in the Admin-launchpad. This can be accessed from <hostname>/launchpad/POSBE-ADMIN. Depending the user role(s), not all applications will be visble for all users.

The Admin-launchpad is diveded up in to four tabs:

Where the three first is intended for admins, the fourth one, Backoffice is intended for the store users and will not be covered in this guide.

  1. Monitoring

The Monitoring tab in the Admin-launchpad provides a quick overview of the system status, making it easy to monitor and detect any issues.

2.1 POSLog Background job

This tile shows the status of the background task responsible for creating POSLog-files and sending them to the specified endpoint. If the job is not running or it produces errors, it is crucial to correct this as soon as possible. The tile will provide information on how long since the last job ran, and if where succesfull or not:

The Overview tile is designed to give a quick overview over sales in stores and all POS-PCs. It is diveded in two reports, and you can switch between them, pressing the arrows:
